Welcome to the weekend, and a Good Friday to you. Women's Tennis has a pair of home conference matches. They'll play Virginia Tech at 11 a.m. Friday and Virginia at 1 p.m. Saturday. Softball hosts a three-game series with Virginia Tech. Game one is at at 6 Friday, with a double header beginning at 1 Saturday rounding out the series. Track is in Raleigh for the adidas Raleigh Relays Friday and Saturday. Men's Lacrosse is on a roll, having won three straight over great competition. Good morning! It's a very busy weekend in Tar Heel athletics. We've got NCAA championships, EAGL championships and men's and women's NCAA basketball tournaments. Let's get to it. Men's basketball takes on Villanova tonight at 7:20 p.m. EDT in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on TNT. Gaze at the bracket here. It's ACC Tournament time, and the Tar Heels get underway at 9:30 tonight, but there's lots more going on in the Carolina athletic department. Men's Basketball plays Florida State tonight at 9:30 p.m. on Raycom and ESPN2. Get your pregame stat fix here. It's March 1, which can only mean . . . it's March. And you know what that means. Men's basketball has won four in a row after Thursday's win at Clemson. It's Opening Day at the Bosh as Carolina Baseball hosts Seton Hall for a weekend series Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 3, 2, and 1 respectively. You can watch Friday's game on GoHeels.com, and there will be audio feeds for both Saturday and Sunday's games. Welcome to the weekend. It's a busy one in Carolina athletics as winter sports continue and many spring sports begin play. The big story is Sylvia Hatchell getting her 900th win last night at Boston College.   It's an incredible achievement, as Hatchell becomes just the third women's coach in NCAA history to do so. Women's basketball will go for Hatchell's 901st win Sunday at 11:30 at Georgia Tech, on ESPNU. Men's basketball looks to continue the solid play of late as they travel to ACC-leading Miami. It's not just Super Bowl Weekend; it's an extremely busy weekend both inside and outside the world of Tar Heel athletics. Let's get started. Men's Basketball hosts Virginia Tech Saturday at noon. P.J. Hairston, who had first-half 14 points before leaving the Boston College game with a concussion, is unlikely to play.
