Weekend Watch: December 28-30

It's the fourth day of Christmas, and I suddenly have ten birds of four different types on my front porch. Hope this has been a good holiday for you.

The sports calendar is understandably light, but here goes:

Carolina Athletics

Women's Basketball has two games this weekend. They host East Tennessee State today at 2 and travel to open conference play at Clemson Sunday at 2.

Wrestling is in Evanston, Illinois for the Ken Craft Midlands Championships.

Men's Basketball is back in action tomorrow for a noon tilt with UNLV at the Smith Center. UNLV will be without star Mike Moser, but forward Anthony Bennett is considered one of the best freshmen in the country. ESPN Carolina hoops blogger Robbi Pickeral previews the game in this video.


Two Tar Heels, Jeff Saturday and Julius Peppers, were named to the Pro Bowl this week.
