Weekend Watch: January 11-13

It's the second weekend of 2013, and the athletics calendar ramps up.

This week, athletic director Bubba Cunningham announced a strategic plan to "educate and inspire through athletics."

Carolina Fencing is one of eight programs in State College at the Penn State Dual Meets on Saturday. On Sunday, the men are in New York for the NYU Dual Meets.

Swimming is at Navy at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Wrestling has three matches this weekend in Pennsylvania. Saturday in Clarion, they take on Michigan State at noon and then Clarion at 2. Sunday, they'll face off with Drexel at noon in Philadelphia.

Men's Basketball will try to get on track with game at Florida State Saturday at 2 p.m. That game is on ESPN. Here's Adam's column on last night's loss to Miami.

Gymnastics is in D.C. for the George Washington Lindsey Ferris Invitational Sunday at 1.

Women's Basketball is 2-0 in conference play and coming off a big win at N.C. State. They'll host Georgia Tech Sunday at 2 at Carmichael Arena. That game is on ESPN3.

It's Ram's Club Day Sunday at Women's Basketball. There's a hospitality event in Woollen Gym beginning at 12:30 p.m. prior to the game, and your Ram's Club will admit four people. Check this link for more information and to register.
