Here's a quick whip-around the news in Carolina athletics.

The Los Angeles Clippers made Reggie Bullock the 25th pick in last night's NBA Draft.

New Clippers coach Doc Rivers said the team needs more shooting, and that's why they chose Bullock

The Kinston Free Press was there at the Woodmen Community Center when Bullock got the news.

Could Rasheed Wallace be an assistant coach in Detroit?

After spending some time in AAA Tacoma, Dustin Ackley is back with the Mariners - this time in the outfield.

Cody Stubbs signed with the Kansas City Royals, but before reporting to Idaho Falls, he spent some time in Cherokee.

Also signing this week was Hobbs Johnson, who will report to Montana for the Milwaukee Brewers.

If you didn't get enough baseball this spring, you can catch Skye Bolt, Carlos Rodon and Trea Turner all on the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team this summer. Tar Heel Trent Thornton also had a tryout with the team.
